For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineer, you will support new and series production within Quick Response & Ref. Shop Electrics. Your focus will be on manufacturing documentation, production drawings, work plans and material coordination for cable harness and equipment manufacturing.

• Review ATA 929 and ATA 925 manufacturing documentation for cable harness and equipment production for the SA (Single Aisle) and LR (Long Range) programmes from a Manufacturing Engineering perspective
• Create jigboards as full-scale drawings for manufacturing ATA 929 cable harnesses for SA and LR
• Order ATA 929 cable harnesses from the supplier for the SA and LR programmes
• Review work plans and ensure their accuracy before handing them over to the material planning team
• Coordinate timing, check and prioritise critical materials, particularly cable harnesses, and optimise internal data transfer from Manufacturing Engineering to material planners
• Maintain data in the ME-relevant tools SAP PDA/PEA/PAC, TAKSY, PSE and PASS
• Identify manufacturing problems and initiate corrective measures

Your profile

• Qualification at least at German Meister level in electrical engineering, aircraft manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or mechanical engineering
• More than three years of professional experience in each of the following: working as a Configuration Management Design Engineer, electrics, engineering and design; more than two years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge of detailed functions in SAP, CATIA V4 and CATIA V5
• In-depth working knowledge of PDMLink as a product data management system and validation tool, detailed specialist knowledge of Taksy/Gesy/Tesy and knowledge of Google Workspace
• Knowledge of ATA chapter 929 (electrical equipment) is required; knowledge of ATA chapter 925 (Cabin Equipment) is an advantage
• Business-fluent German and proficient English
• Ability to quickly recognise and analyse relationships and operating principles; an independent, structured and results-oriented approach to meet deadlines and coordinate workflows efficiently; strong communication skills for collaboration with contacts at all levels
